We are only 8 weeks into 2017 but already our Charity Champions have been busy thinking of ingenious ways to raise funds for our chosen charity Candlelighters.
The year started with the return of our well-loved pub quiz, with the first one raising a brilliant £347 and we were also incredibly lucky to receive some very generous donations allowing us to raise £232 from our Bring and Buy sale. Our dress down week really got things started with a bang by raising a staggering £1555. None of these events would have been possible without the support and generosity of our employees and we would like take this opportunity to thank them for their kind contributions.
But don’t worry, it’s not over yet! We have lots planned for the rest of the year including our Mother’s Day Craft Afternoon, more of the well-loved pub quizzes, a trek up the three peaks, a family fun day, yoga classes and maybe even a treasure hunt or two.
