Collaboration is all about working together to jointly deliver something that individually is unachievable.
Enact and Orbital Witness have been collaborating in 2023 on the development and deployment of an AI solution to screen Enact’s leasehold instructions as they come in, in order to flag and resolve issues swiftly for their clients, and reduce abortive costs and non-billable hours.
The collaboration has been very successful. The solution has helped Enact to catch and resolve lease defects in 27% of new instructions, which has allowed clients to take decisions before they are more financially and emotionally invested, and has helped Enact to avoid non-billable work on the 6% of transactions which do not proceed as a result.
We are pleased to announce that Enact and Orbital Witness have been shortlisted for the Conveyancing Collaborators of the Year Award at the upcoming British Conveyancing Awards.
This award recognises how two organisations can work together to achieve something special. At Enact and at Orbital Witness we feel that we have achieved just that, and we’re looking forward to the awards ceremony on 12th March!
