Staff were good when they answered 👍🏻, but don’t get stuck on hold to Enact, you’ll be driven bonkers by its hold music that sounds like a school xylophone concert on a short loop 🤪. Waited 10 minutes when the music gradually faded only for it to happily start up again 🤯. The poor souls in the call centre must get it in ear when they eventually answer the phone as the customer has been drive up the wall. Would do well to invest in decent hold music.

Step 2. Instruct your online conveyancing solicitor

Once you’ve received your quote, it’s time to officially instruct your conveyancer to begin working for you. They will then be able to guide you through the conveyancing process and ensure everything runs smoothly whilst handling the legal side of your property transaction.

By using our online ‘Instruct Now’ function, you can instruct us to get started on your case straight away.

Step 3. Track your case online

You can use our online case tracker to communicate with your conveyancer. You can also stay updated on progress through the tracker. Additionally, you can easily submit required paperwork, information and complete ID checks without the need to visit an office.

Latoya Conveyancer
I qualified with a 2:1 Law degree in 2010 and I have worked in conveyancing since 2011. I like working at Enact because I have been offered the chance to further my conveyancing career and work towards ultimately becoming a Licensed Conveyancer.
Tracey Team Manager
I have worked at Enact for 15 years, and during this time I completed a part time Law degree, graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a 2:1 in Law. I initially started my career as a Remortgage Legal Assistant and progressed to the Residential Conveyancing department in 2012. I gained a number of years’ experience as a conveyancer, before successfully progressing into a Team Manager role. I now oversee a small team of conveyancers and assistants ensuring that we maintain a professional service at all times.
Claire Team Leader
I joined the Enact Team in February 2016 and I lead a team within the remortgage department. It is very refreshing to work within an organisation that actively seek out feedback and over a short time I have seen some highly effective changes implemented.
