2025 will see enact continuing their charity fund raising efforts. This year the business has chosen to support St Gemma’s Hospice, a local Leeds charity, that is close to the hearts of many of our people.
St Gemma’s works to provide exceptional care for those in need, such as those suffering with cancer and other life-threatening illness. The hospice also provides unwavering support for the friends and family of those affected by illness. St Gemma’s is a critical part of the Leeds community and last year helped over 3000 people, but this cannot happen without the support of businesses and individuals alike. With £25,000 required to run the hospice and its services per day, it is clear why this fundraising is of vital importance.
Our colleagues at Enact can look forward to events such as charity clothes sales; the Three Peaks challenge; walks and runs; and even a winter ball. Alongside this, many more events are in the works that our Charity Champions are eager to bring to life to support St Gemma’s.
To kick things off, our team have supported St Gemma’s Hospice Easter Knit campaign by creating these little chocolate egg holders. These will be sent off to the hospice and sold in the local community to raise money for St Gemma’s.
